Dr Hector Cutajar MD CCSTPsych (Melit) is a specialist in psychiatry and has been working in this sector since 2001. He has been working in various fields of psychiatry, including general adult, community and rehabilitation, learning disability, addictions, forensic, child and adolescent psychiatry and old age psychiatry.
Dr Cutajar has a special interest, in particular, in forensic psychiatry, community and old age psychiatry.
Dr Cutajar has recently concluded a study on the application of the Mental Health Act in Malta within the forensic setting. He has been a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta and a regular one at the Malta Mental Health Association. Dr Cutajar has also given lectures to other professionals in the mental health sector.
He is currently working in general adult and old age psychiatry.
