Mr Bugeja is a consultant urological surgery who specialises in all conditions affecting the urinary tract including urinary tract infections, stones and prostatism. He deals with all types of urological malignancies namely prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancer. He completed his subspecialisation in functional urology, reconstruction of the urinary tract and erectile dysfunction at the world renowned Institute of Urology at University College London Hospital and has published extensively in international journals in these fields.
In addition to general urological procedures as well as cancer surgery, he performs surgery for the management of female incontinence including rectus fascial slings, urethral reconstruction for the treatment of urethral stricture disease, implantation of artificial urinary sphincters for the treatment of male and female incontinence as well as penile reconstruction for Peyronnie’s disease and implantation of penile prostheses for erectile dysfunction.
