Mr Christian Camenzuli is a specialist in general surgeon with a special interest in thyroid and endocrine surgery. He graduated as a medical doctor from the University of Malta in 2009 and subsequently graduated from the University of Cardiff with a masters degree in advanced surgical practice.
He trained in general surgery at Mater Dei Hospital and then furthered his experience in thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal surgery at the internationally renowned Hammersmith Hospital London, UK. He was awarded the honour of Fellow in the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh as well as being a Fellow of the European board of general surgery. Mr Camenzuli is a specialist working at Mater Dei hospital and is involved in the diagnosis and management of a vast variety of surgical problems including thyroid, parathyroids, adrenals, hernias, bowel and gallbladder. He is experienced in endoscopy, open and laparoscopic surgery. He is a visiting lecturer with the University of Malta, has published in international journals and is currently reading for a doctoral degree in philosophy.
