Ryan graduated from the University of Malta Medical School in 2011. He finished his specialisation training in general ENT in Malta in 2020 and furthered his training by obtaining a Fellowship in Paediatric ENT at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, this was followed by a stint working as a consultant in Paediatric ENT at the same hospital prior to his return back to Malta to continue his practice as an ENT Specialist.
During his career Ryan has obtained an MSc in Surgical Sciences, Membership to the Royal College of Surgery, Diploma of Head and Neck Surgery and a Fellowship to the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery and is currently reading for an MSc in Audiology.
While experienced in a wide range of ENT pathologies involving both adult and paediatric patients, his main areas of interest are paediatric ENT, ear and hearing pathology and airways problems.
He is also involved in teaching and research, being a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta both at undergraduate and postgraduate level as well as having contributed to a number of research projects and publications in ENT.
